Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Prior experience in non-profit organizations is a plus, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with various accounting ERP systems and software.
• Ideally, experience managing accounting in complex, multi-company environments.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced settings.

Duties:

• Prepare journal entries for various general ledger accounts.
• Reconcile, update, and maintain schedules for general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and file sales, excise, and use tax reports.
• Perform monthly allocations for shared costs.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile bank accounts monthly.
• Manage the expensing of prepaid balance sheet accounts.
• Reconcile and import donor contributions into the finance ERP system.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare year-end accrual journal entries.
• Assist with auditor documentation requests.
