Trans-Soft is seeking a talented and experienced web application developer who is interested in a six-month to long-term contract to both maintain and upgrade our existing customer facing and back-end administrative web applications.

Initial Project Scope:

• Upgrade from PHP 5.2.17 to Latest Stable PHP (5.6+)

• Implement a Modern Security Layer w/ Enterprise requirements. (Account lockout with configurable failure attempts before lockout, lockout window and lockout duration / Password Expiration / Recent password reuse prevention / Password complexity and length rules / One-way encryption / etc)

Responsibilities:

• Upgrade and migrate any deprecated PHP or 3rd Party code use to latest equivalents

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

• Update site layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices

• Integrate data from various back-end databases and services

• Follow specifications and requirements based on technical needs.

• Build new user interfaces while maintaining design consistency within the application
