Job Responsibilities:
• Performing complex Software Engineering tasks (dependent on project needs) such as requirements review, design, documentation, development, testing and preparing for release.
• Involvement in life cycle of various projects from requirements review to hand off to QA and implementation. May design, author and/or review design documentation for projects. Analyzes solutions created by other engineers and provides feedback.
• Involvement in projects requiring data modeling, information modeling and business intelligence components as well as interactions with other Business Intelligence (BI) IT organizations within Windstream
• Reviews requirements documents for feasibility of project as a whole. Participates in team design/code reviews.
• Based on project needs, interface with other groups within IT to review impact to other applications and internal customers.
• Participation in team meetings to review status of projects.
• Collaborating and presenting ideas, project methodologies and project plans to management and executives
• Researching new technologies to improve business processes. May research new tools to improve development procedures.
• Manage projects in the role of a project manager for projects of varying sizes. May require collaboration with other project managers as part of a larger initiative.
