Assistant Finance Manager – Nicosia
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to join our Finance Department. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team within a fast-paced corporate environment, contributing to the financial oversight and strategic growth of the Group. The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Lead external audits, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of findings
- Manage insurance policies and rental agreements for cost efficiency and compliance
- Develop and enhance financial policies to improve efficiency and regulatory adherence
- Review trial balances and ledgers monthly, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies
- Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate management reporting
- Strengthen internal financial controls and recommend process improvements
- Oversee cash management, liquidity, and banking relationships
- Ensure VAT and tax compliance, handling filings and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and legal consultants for audits and statutory filings
- Maintain accurate financial records in line with accounting standards
- Support budgeting and cost control, collaborating with departments
- Manage vendor contracts, payments, and reconciliations
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making
- Drive process improvements and automation for efficiency
- Provide support across the Group as required
Main requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Accounting / Finance or any other relevant degree
- Professional Qualification Degree (ACA, ACCA) with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Products
- Knowledge of any accounting program would be a plus
- Excellent management and leadership skills

- Global awareness and global business orientation
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Very good knowledge of English
