We are seeking a security-minded DevOps (emphasis on dev) who can navigate infrastructure automation and performance testing as well as application development. You will be in charge of monitoring and optimizing the systems backing our end-to-end encrypted communication & productivity platform. Our ideal candidate will also be able to assist other backend developers as needed, with a focus on performance and security optimization.

Main duties will include:

• Workingon a Nodejs + Riak + Redis stack on AWS;

• Building and deploying tools for monitoring, metrics collection, log analytics and error handling;

• Performing penetration tests, independently and in collaboration with third parties;

• Performing and automating stress testing;

• Identifying bottlenecks at application and infrastructure levels;

• Architecting and managing code deployment and distribution systems;

• Handling level 3 support escalation with other senior development team members;

• Collaborating with operations teams to build and optimize application installations on customer architecture.
