This is a fantastic opportunity to join the product engineering team. The product engineering team is responsible for imagining, designing, developing and releasing innovative messaging solutions that are customisable and built to be secure, accessible, usable and scalable.
Under the direction of the Director, Product and lead software engineer, as a Software Engineer you are responsible for the development, troubleshooting and maintenance of the Atmail product suite in line with the product road map. Including new features, bug fixes and client-specific customisations.
Software Engineers are also responsible for maintaining high quality documentation and implementation of test cases to QA standards. Additionally, to proactively engage in skills-sharing across the team; make recommendations to improve current business processes and business rules and to comply with company engineering policy.
As a JavaScript specialist,you will initially be assigned to work on front-end development (customer facing, in browser applications),using your awesome AJAX skills to develop performant, and scalable applications.
The business is completely focused on client satisfaction, so communication and the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders is essential.
The successful candidate must have outstanding English communication skills and be either an Australian citizen or authorised to work in Australia.
