Banking Relations and Payments Officer – Nicosia
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and self-motivated professional to join our Financial Control team. The successful candidate will join a collaborative work environment and develop their skills and competencies alongside a growing team.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Engage in the financial institutions’ annual reviews by gathering the required information and monitoring the successful completion of the process.
- Participate in the bank account opening procedures and monitor the entire process.
- Maintain the relationship with the various financial institutions.
- Initiate bank transactions of expenses payments and other obligations for further approval and execution.
- Ensure all processing and payments authorization are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collect the necessary internal documentation for due diligence and KYC procedures, as occasionally required by the financial institutions.
- Ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
Main requirements:
- Degree in Banking, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or in any related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the banking industry.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
- Excellent oral and written skills in English.
- Energetic, positive, and a team player.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
