We are building exciting mobile appsfor our long-term client who is a global leader in the fitness space. Tracking, gamification and social sharing are key aspects of their strategy. Yes, you’ve probably heard of their workout programs. We’re providing all of their mobile development expertise.

We’re looking for a Team Tech Lead who knows about building mobile apps – either from the API side with Rails or from the client side with IOS/android – to join our globally distributed team.

You’ll be:

• Managing the technical side of the development process; ensuring smart design decisions are made between the client/server halves of the team, ensuring that the product work end-to-end

• Working with a large, fast moving team (working 11am – 8pm Central European time)

• Designing complex mobile apps (objective-c and swift) involving APIs anddata syncronisation

• Ensuring the robustness, performance and failure characteristics of the system.

• Working on fast iteration cycles and tight deadlines using an agile/scrum methodology

• Writing well tested, defect free code with CI/CD and rspec test

• Taking ownership of production applications – managing issues, releases and ensuring quality
