POSITION PURPOSE

Report on and integrate data from disparate sources. Interface with customers asking questions and building systems that respond to the clients’ data needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpret & implement published specifications (often state and federal reporting metrics) as SQL and/or C# code

  • Develop web-based application (ASP. NET / jQuery / JavaScript / C# / CSS / XML / MVC / (future may include Angular))

  • Efficiently produce SQL queries and C# code, often interfacing . NET with SQL Server

  • Import and export data in various formats from various sources

  • Automate repetitive processes

  • Analyze and validate reports between systems and isolate discrepancies when they occur

  • Work with other developers cooperatively

  • When appropriate, work independently, organizing questions in a way that allows progress to continue without immediate feedback.

MINOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with customers to gather data and knowledge about systems being built.

  • Receive customer feedback and design implementation models.

  • Identify product defects and track to their appropriate resolution

  • Assist with special projects as needed.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRE

  • Solid skills using C#, SQL Server, and ASP. NET are required.

  • 4 year degree in a related field preferred.

  • Some import/export experience required.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as git or mercurial; Analysis Services, and any medical or insurance background are a plus

  • Ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of formats such as XML, JSON, CSV, HL7, EDI/X12
