Full Time, Mid-Level or Senior Full Stack Microsoft Developer
PharmacyChecker.com, an established, Internet-based company that empowers consumers by verifying and publishing information about prescription drug prices, online pharmacies, prescription discount cards and other prescription savings programs, is looking for a full-time developer. The developer will work closely with the Director of Website Operations and report to the company’s president. The developer will architect and implement full stack web and backend applications in a high-volume, data intensive environments on Microsoft and other technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Create and work with APIs to manage price comparison database and other content.
Improve price comparison platform by standardizing data
Implement website design and redesigns
Implement coding practices to improve website performance
Implement SEO best practices with website manager
Develop caching system to improve site performance
Maintain site uptime
Upgrade site administrative tool
Maintain server security and database integrity
Collaborate with CTO of sister company to assume technical backup role for websites when necessary
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science
8+ years of programming /web-development experience. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft web technology stack.
Experience developing scalable applications for IIS / ASP. NET MVC (C#)
Knowledge of Classic ASP
Front-end development experience including HTML/CSS, Javascript, Jquery, Jquery UI, and other UI Frameworks
PHP/MySQL
Experience developing price comparison databases
Strong communication skills are a must
Highly self-disciplined and organized
Strongly preferred
Someone who subscribes to the eXtreme Programming (XP) or ‘Clean Code’ methodologies, and familiar with web services APIs. Knows SOAP to talk to pharmacy benefit API
Experience with pharmacy benefit management data, such as National Drug Code (NDC) and other metadata standards
Desire to help people struggling to afford medication
