The Visual Design Intern will be responsible for the end-to-end process of transforming Eureka King’s product requirements into visually stunning and highly functional user interfaces. As a member of the Product Development team, the Visual Designer will collaborate to continuously improve the quality and innovation of the user interface for products and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

-Create superior user experiences through the design of elegant interfaces. -Collaborate with Product Team to create sketches, wireframes, Photoshop mockups, or interactive prototypes to support early product concepts and ideas. -Design clean, usable workflows for eCommerce processes. -Design Web application user interfaces that are on-brand, visually attractive, and cohesive. -Create production-quality visual assets and icons for the development teams. -Present, defend, and revise your design ideas through design reviews and subsequent iterations. -Create HTML and CSS-based prototypes for design ideas and collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to produce working interfaces.

Position Requirements

-A passion for UI and Web design trends. -Strong understanding of Web usability, interaction design, and information architecture. -Experience working in UI/UX and design for the Web. -Extensive experience in Adobe Photoshop producing pixel-perfect screen designs. -Expert in creating UI wireframes using tools such as Visio, Balsamiq, OmniGraffle, or Illustrator. -Technical mastery of HTML and CSS.-Strong grasp of underlying Web application technologies and their limitations: JavaScript, Flash, XML -Commitment to personal growth and continuous learning.

Compensation:

This is an unpaid Internship. The successful candidate may be offered a full time employment opportunity at the end of the Internship.
