We are looking for a talented UI Designer responsible for creating amazing user experiences. You will be exposed to numerous start-ups working in various fields, and will report directly to the cofounders, all very much experienced in web development and entrepreneurship.

Location of the internship:  Santiago de Chile, Chile

Duration of the Internship:  Starting date: ASAP  Duration: 6 months

Compensation:  Up to $1,500 USD (based on demonstrated experience)  Performance-related bonus  Can lead to a full-time position

Main Responsibilities:

 Contribute to the development of our solutions, working side by side with our senior developers and our beta clients, guaranteeing a pleasing and intuitive user experience  Design, implement and test our new interfaces  Translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts  Transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces

Required profile and skills:

 2+ year-experience in user experience design, user interface design, interaction design, information architecture, or other related disciplines (junior profiles will be considered)  1+ year-experience designing for mobile devices.  Demonstrated practical knowledge of user-centered design methodologies and usability principles  Proven ability to design intuitive and compelling user interfaces  Experience with Agile Methodologies  Excellent knowledge in HTML5 and CSS3  Proficient knowledge in JavaScript and jQuery  Knowledge in version control with Git is a plus  Strong preference given to those who demonstrate and have passion for personal / side projects  Entrepreneurial attitude  Autonomous, hard worker
