Key Responsibilities: Prospecting and closing new AWE memberships in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles; Establishing relationships with private equity, venture capitalists, service professionals and community leaders through referrals and introductions; Understanding evolving business terrains and effectively articulating the value proposition to prospective members; Leading senior executives into active membership status through a consultative sales approach; Executing a transactional sales methodology with an average sales cycle of 6 weeks or less; Conducting high volume of structured, daily phone based prospect and member interactions; Onboarding new members in partnership with Member Relations Associate Director. Maintaining a current view into new business pool pipeline, including scheduled interactions and sales process steps.

Qualifications: True belief in AWE’s mission to significantly improve the number of women in senior management and on board seats; The spirit to “Be Bold” and fearless in representing AWE, even during its start-up phase; Intellectual curiosity and drive to problem solve; Natural ability to connect with people and to be a connector for people; 6+ years transactional sales experience with success negotiating and closing business; Exceptional ability to immediately establish one’s credibility with senior executives; ability to conduct phone-based (90%+) in person meetings; Solid understanding of business concepts and ability to quickly learn content terrain; Ability to diagnose prospect needs and identify relevant resources; Ability to meet personal and team weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goals; Solid understanding of business concepts & dynamics for large national and international corporations; Superior time management, detail orientation and organization skills; Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred.
