Bright Funds is on a mission is to be the global conduit for giving by connecting people and companies with the nonprofits and causes they care about most. We are modernizing online giving by providing an impact-focused workplace and personal giving experience for a new generation of donors.

In addition to the consumer application, Bright Funds workplace giving provides companies of any size a fully integrated, scalable workplace giving platform.

We’re hiring a technical leader to architect and build the key pieces of the service. A full stack developer with experience in enterprise systems, and who enjoys using and creating well designed products.

  • You know how to write code that is clean and can be read by others.
  • You are a leader who can make product, software and engineering decisions with whatever information is available at hand.
  • You learn from others, and you can guide, mentor, and teach others on the team.
  • You think about scale, but also create something flexible that can cater to smaller customers. Our smallest customer currently has 32 employees and the largest one will be over 16,000 employees.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Experience and expertise in Ruby on Rails, Javascript/jQuery, HTML5, CSS3
  • Passionate about startups and experience in creating SaaS products a big plus
