Responsibilities

 Lead the execution of technology strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.  Build and manage a top-flight technology team and oversee research and development, as well as project management.  Provide visible leadership for the company within the technology community.  Anticipate and react to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape.  Establish technical standards and ensure adherence to them for product development and company operations.  Build a solid start-up technical team by recruiting highly skilled candidates

Technical Skills

 3+ years’ experience developing Android/iOS applications  Deep understanding of the web and mobile technology stacks  Technical expertise in architecture, design and development  Should have strong technical experience on HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX  Should have technical experience in php, python, RoR, .net technologies  Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design optimized for embedded systems

 Experience with UNIX system administration and server configuration  Exposure on CMS systems  Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure/AWS  Exposure to GPS technology/Location APIs

Requirements

 Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends as a Foundation for technology and product roadmaps.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  At least 5+ years in engineering, with 2 years in a lead position.  Bachelor or Masters in Engineering with Computer Science from reputed/premier institutes preferred  Experience with start-up companies preferred
