Webstream.io is a small, self-funded & thriving recent startup providing services in Ruby on Rails ecosystem. We have some interesting projects lined up that we’d like to put in motion. We are looking for Ruby on Rails hackers that can and are willing to fill multiple roles. You’ll be expected to manage a project from end to end, including but not limited to discussions, documentations, coding, testing, deployment and after services. We also expect you to be friendly, self-motivated, quick learner and be able to work autonomously. Apart from our day to day work, we also regularly contribute to various open-source projects and maintain a few of our own (e.g., github.com/webstream-io/josh). If sending patches to open-source projects is how you kill your free time, you’ll fit right in.

We are looking for developers who are passionate about they do and it is okay if you don’t have any prior professional work experience, but you should already be programming out of interest. What this means that instead of looking at your academic degrees, past training courses, and past experiences; we’d rather like to see some work that you can showcase us: be it patches that you contributed to an open-source project, some hobby project of yours, some small script that you wrote to solve a problem, or answers you posted on web to solve someone else’s problem. You can also throw in a few links about yourself that you think we’d find interesting.

To apply, send us answers to the questions posted here: https://gist.github.com/nasa42/4269d8e3fc14aa37df45
