Responsibilities: The VP, Debt and Corporate Finance will play a senior leadership role within SunFunder and be responsible for a number of key business areas including leading the structuring for our private debt offerings, debt fundraising, and a number of corporate finance responsibilities.
- Structure our private debt funds, working closely with outside legal counsel, tax and regulatory advisors, accountants, potential investors, and SunFunder’s solar project pipeline and portfolio management teams.
- Source and close debt funding, PRIs and grants from a diverse range of potential investors, including individual accredited investors, private investment institutions, government entities, development finance institutions, foundations, and others.
- Improve and maintain our financial statements and projections and manage corporate and solar project cash flows and taxes.
- Refine our business model and pricing strategy, taking into consideration our debt investors, SunFunder revenues, solar customers and competition.
- Working closely with the solar pipeline and systems teams, contribute to the overall innovation, design and implementation of SunFunder’s constantly evolving assumptions, processes, systems and strategy.
- Maintain relationships with investors and ensure strong communication to align investor expectations with regards to portfolio performance and growth.
