We are creating a new category and are looking for a Software Developer to be part of our Floh platform team which is going to develop the Service Platform and Web Application.

We need a ruby on rails programmer with a strong analytical and logical reasoning ability who is looking to be part of a dynamic team in a start-up environment. Floh is creating a technology driven product in the relationship space. The candidate will collaborate with the team in a dynamic and agile setup to bring about quick response times. The position provides opportunities to creatively work with new and innovative technologies. The candidate will have the opportunity to work both independently and within a team environment, depending on project scope. Must be highly motivated and capable of keeping current with emerging applications and technologies.

What skills are we looking for?

4 years or more of experience in Ruby on Rails development. Strong OOP concepts. Exposure to Service Development. Exposure to cloud deployment would be an asset. Exposure to Agile or other methods suitable for a start-up product development cycle.

In addition to rock solid technical skills, you will need to be able to work with a strong team who have founded startups in the past and have worked at McKinsey, Google, Microsoft, etc. We expect and reward attitude, competence and getting things done. Floh is a startup and you will need to thrive in a fast changing, high-energy environment that is constantly evolving.
