At trivago we are constantly looking for ways to improve functionality by ensuring the internal tools we work with are lightweight and easy to use. Our Content department is currently looking for a Technical Product Manager to join the team and drive the internal tool development process. In this role you will have to find concrete solutions to the sometimes vague problems presented to you by stakeholders by listening to users’ requests and feedback and then working closely with engineering teams to create tool project plans. You will be responsible for managing various projects at the same time, conceptualizing the tool plans according to the Product Owner’s need, writing specifications and handing over your plan to the Product Owner and his scrum team. You need to possess that perfect blend of creativity and technical genius that means you know both how to solve problems and you understand the tools you will be employing to solve them. You must also be a visionary person able to create a long-term plan for internal tools, have the strength of character to push forward with this plan and have the organizational skills to coordinate multiple teams and projects.
