. Net Developer
We are currently recruiting for a number of . Net developers to join our Digital Solutions Unit at Capgemini. The role will allow the successful individual to work within a team of Microsoft technical specialists: architects, designers, engineers and developers, including both UK and India based colleagues. You will create leading edge solutions for a number of high profile clients, working in a culture that delivers some of the biggest and most exciting IT programmes globally – built on the Microsoft platform.
Person Profile:
- A demonstrable track record of delivering projects based upon the Microsoft . NET Framework and supporting Microsoft technologies
- Demonstrable experience of working within a challenging environment
- Experience of working within a team environment
- Good software engineering pedigree
- MCPD/MCTS/MCAD/MCSD certifications highly advantageous
- Good time management
- Understanding/appreciation of a consulting environment in which one may need to proactively seek the best opportunities
- Motivated individual, ideally with some experience working within a consulting environment and/or on project based work
- Willingness to travel on a UK wide basis and work away from home for extended periods of time Monday to Friday
- Existing SC or DV security clearance advantageous
Technical skills:
- Visual Studio 2012 or above and Team Foundation Server
- . NET Framework Version 4.5 including strong WCF experience
- C# is essential
- Experience with defined frameworks (MVC, Entity Framework and Enterprise Library) is essential
- IIS & ASP. NET including HTML, Cascading Style Sheets and JavaScript
- SQL Server 2008 with T-SQL and ADO. NET
- Continuous Integration Build process and automated unit test skills with tools such as MSBuild, CruiseControl and NUnit is desirable
- Object Oriented Analysis and Design skills are essential
- UML skills are essential
