This role allows you to work from anywhere you choose across the U. S. (excluding U. S. territories), with the flexibility to work from the Seattle HQ office as often as you’d like. Please note that no matter where you are located, all employees should be available during our core working hours from 10 am to 4 pm PT Monday through Friday.

Your role and impact

As a Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer at 98point6, you’ll have the opportunity to build internal applications and tooling to improve our commercial, clinical and to support staff’s efficiency. You will align with highly collaborative internal and external teams who are motivated and passionate about our mission. While partnering with engineers across disciplines, including frontend, mobile, quality assurance, systems, data engineering and data science, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally to define and perform integrations for our partner and patient data.

Responsibilities

Guide and implement product elements to achieve optimized architecture, work with external partners to improve designs, define processes and develop software for industry-leading products

Manage production applications that patients, doctors and clinical staff depend upon

Independently clarify technical requirements, assessing development estimates and apply a broad range of design approaches

Mentor other engineers

Develop and improve team best practices for coding and design

Participate in 24/7 on call responsibilities on a rotational basis

Qualifications

5+ years experience designing and coding back-end services using Java, C++, C#, Ruby, Python, Nodejs or TypeScript for production commercial services that operate on the public internet

5+ years of experience designing and coding browser-based applications using Javascript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 and at least 1 Javascript application framework

Knowledge and prior use of AWS services and tools, including Cognito, Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS and CDK

A high level of ownership, flexibility and self-direction

Ability to think big and help innovate in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Integrating with common healthcare system and standards

Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR

Experience with mobile development, Kotlin Mu
