The Lead Developer is responsible for the development of breakthrough computational software across a wide range of scientific disciplines in support of faculty research affiliated with the Center for Simulation and Modeling. They will provide strategic oversight and project management ofsoftware development, as well as expertise inmost complex software development within the Center. They will establish, communicate, and execute goals and initiatives in conjunction with the Technical Director. The Lead Developer will act as the primary liaison and expert for the Center to collaboratewith faculty research groups on the design, development, and implementation of computational software. As well, as Lead Developer, the incumbent will guide and mentor software development efforts led by students in the labs of faculty research groups. The Lead Developer will also have the opportunity todevelop educational and training materials for workshops and classes held by the Center, as directed.
