Role Responsibilities:The code reviewer will be reviewing all code written by engineers on the development team. Reviewing, correcting and looking for better ways to write existing code. This person must be a skilled code reviewer and enjoys doing code reviews and coming up with best practices for code reviews. This person will be reporting directly into the CIO and dotted reporting line into the solution architect lead. Basic requirements:

C# programming language expert. 5 – 8 years experienced in C#.

Well-versed in documenting, critiquing, creating best practice guides and implementing coding standards

Identifying and documenting anti-patterns

Performance profiling to determine which type of code is more efficient

Draft the engineering coding guide and policy for AlphaPoint

Comfortable with communicating mistakes in code and coaching/supporting engineers to take corrective action

Someone very detail-oriented

A specialist in code reviewing

Preferred requirements:

Prior experience with maintaining open source projects and triaging other engineers’ code on a frequent basis – either for professional/work reasons or as a hobby

Passion and experience in cryptocurrencies, blockchain, trading systems or other fintech instruments

Someone who is comfortable working across the engineering organization with senior developers, leads and staff level engineers
