Us

Alliants is a fast-growing technology consultancy and development company; based on the south coast of England with locations in London, Toronto and Sofia. We advise companies (new and established, big and small) on their technical strategy, coach them on how to deliver effectively and develop software solutions to their business problems.

All of our work comes from recommendation and therefore we look for people who have pride in what they do. We’re a knowledge based business – people come to us because we know what to do and how to do it. Therefore we don’t hire people to just write programs, we hire people to provide solutions.

We currently predominantly use Rails and Angular for web, Swift & Java for mobile, but we adapt as necessary and are always interested in other technologies.

You

You always look to provide the best solution to business problems and ensure that what you are doing is providing value. You’re not happy just to be told what to build; you want to know why.

You understand and have experience of robust development frameworks including source control, unit testing and daily builds. Industry best practices such as TDD and pair programming are just what you do.

You enjoy learning and experiment with new technologies, languages and libraries outside of your day job. Open source projects which can demonstrate your skills will be highly regarded.

Of course technical competency is important but we want people passionate about software. We think that passion is visible in our work and want it to be visible in you too.
