The Intel Open Source Technology Center’s Visualization/Media Engineering team is responsible for developing multiple aspects of graphics software, display driver development and simulation environment development. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the Intel Linux kernel graphics driver: adding support for advanced platforms well before they are released, improving the driver for maximum performance and functionality and working directly with key community maintainers to get your work added to the Linux kernel. Google’s Android and Chrome operating systems incorporate this driver for use on Intel-based devices such as tablets and Chromebooks. Intel’s complex, high performance GPU silicon needs a skilled engineer who can work with silicon teams to leverage each new generation of advanced GPU architecture.
