Nodejs Developer – Cyprus, Greece or Remote

The Role:

As a Nodejs Developer, you will join a dynamic and innovative team of skilled professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality applications. Your primary focus will be to develop and enhance full stack solutions using PayloadCMS alongside with Nodejs and Next.js. You’ll have the opportunity to share your expertise, collaborate with fellow developers, and advance your career by exploring cutting-edge technologies.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Build and maintain advanced applications using PayloadCMS, Nodejs and Next.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices
• Implement automated tests and testing strategies, and participate in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize reliability
• Contribute to system design, architecture, and overall technical strategy

Main requirements:

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in building applications Nodejs and React
• At least 1 year of experience with PayloadCMS
• Proven experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with CSS/SCSS
• Knowledge of document databases (MongoDB)
• Experience with unit tests using Jest
• Experience with Git and version control practices
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and professional development
• Fluency in English

The following will be considered an advantage:

• Experience similar content management systems
• Experience with messaging platforms, such as Kafka
• Experience with monitoring performance platforms, such as Grafana, Prometheus
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tool, such as Kubernetes and Docker
• Familiarity with AWS Services
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts
