The Distributed Historian team is seeking motivated team members with broad experience and a drive for creating robust, maintainable solutions for our customers and business stakeholders.

As a developer in our team, you will build scalable Windows Azure based services and the internal applications to support them. You will work in a dynamic environment on a highly visible product and will participate in defining, designing, implementing, documenting, testing, releasing and helping manage the product and the live service.If you get excited by billions of events, terabytes of data, and developing and managing the life-cycle of a SaaS offering that OSIsoft customers will come to rely on, then this is the challenge you’ve been looking for. The systems is being developed from the ground up using manycutting edge technologies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for producing software programs including, but not limited to:

• Architecting and designing software programs.

• Developing and coding software.

• Mentoring team members.

• Product design and implementation presentations to team members and management.

• Technical support of products including direct customer support and escalated issues.

• Product behavior and implementation documentation, including design whitepapers and end user documentation.

• Technical advancement via self-motivated research, formal training and course work, and technical conferences.
