We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer with a deep technical ability to come be part of our wonderful story. You will work closely with our product and editorial teams to understand, build simple solutions to complex problems, and deliver delightful experiences to all our users.
This is 100% remote opportunity.
What You’ll do
· Create the next generation social platform centered around stories
· Work with our team to build, and maintain our web application and website
· Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
· Work on bug fixing and improving performance
We are looking for
· Self-motivated with a love for stories and reading
· Expert-level knowledge of developing and maintaining web applications
· Deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals
· Experience with HTML, Javascript, Javascript Frameworks (e.g. VueJS, React, Angular) and CSS
· Keen eye for design and sharp attention to detail
· Passionate about user experience
· Experienced in e-commerce
· Some experience with mobile technologies (native iOS and Android) and backend technologies (Python w/ Django) preferred
· Comfortable in an early stage start-up environment

Salary and compensation
$120,000 — $160,000/year
