The chief software architect is a member of Lutron’s leadership team and has primary responsibility for ensuring thatLutron’s software is well engineered, operable, maintainable, aligns to product strategy/vision and provides the anticipated business value. This role requires active and effective collaboration with the CEO, operations personnel, customers, prospects, and partners in achieving Lutron’s business and technical objectives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all software is engineered, operable, maintainable, and aligns to product strategy/vision and provides anticipated value and is developed in a cost efficient manner

• Lead, directand growLutron’s software development team

• Developand implementsoftware engineering hiring and professional development plans

• Workwith senior leadership to define and manageLutron’s software roadmap

• Collaborate with engineering and ensure efficient release of all product releases and scale and recommend modifications and improvements to all products and services through regular analysis

• Supervise and provide training to all junior engineers in organization for various software systems
