J. Crew’s Application Developers apply the principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that enable computers to perform their many applications. The Application Developer has experience and focus in web-based application development that enables e-commerce or the activities/systems that facilitate the support of e-commerce systems. This candidate would be working with cross platform teams and would help engineering enterprise level solution.

Responsibilities include:

· Coding/Programming of new projects or redesign/enhance existing Order management processes and web site-areas/tools.

· Problem solving and troubleshooting, working with cross platform teams in identifying are resolving issues, emergency site / order management fixing , ad-hoc application enhancements.

· Problem analysis and pre-implementation design.

· Code build, commenting, optimization, version control, bug tracking and verification/regression testing/review cycle prior to handover to QA team for final testing.
