AKASHA Foundation is looking for an outstanding UX Designer to take on design projects in all of our products. You will be expected to produce user-centered design work throughout the entire UX lifecycle, from ideation to conceptualization, to iteration. You will work closely with the other members of the UX team to improve the end-to-end user experience throughout AKASHA products.
As part of our global remote team, you will have the chance to work and interact with some of the brightest minds in the blockchain technology space. Even better, you will play a leading role at the forefront of shaping the way people interact with the next generation of the Web.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for producing design work that supports all of AKASHA’s products.
- You will coordinate with other members of the UX team to ensure consistency and standardization.
- You will track and verify that development occurs in line with your design specifications.
- You will measure the ongoing usability of your design work and iterate where and when needed.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of UX Design experience.
- A focus on user-centered design
- Experience with sketching, IA, flows, and customer journeys
- Strong interaction and visual design skills
- Experience with product design (not agency)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience working cross-functionally
- User research experience a plus
- Experience with accessibility and universal design a plus
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree related to UX a plus
- Experience in the social network and/or blockchain spaces a plus
- Experience with non-profit organizations a plus
