Recently Lush have embarked on a total digital transformation with a focus at revolutionising digital by putting it at the centre of Lush – recently we have embarked on creating a global mobile app platform and now we are looking to recruit a team to support, innovate and push the platform forward on a global scale.
We’re looking for a candidate who lives mobile technology, is able to work self sufficiently, innovate and lead our mobile products and take real ownership, quality and craftsmanship over their work. We’ll be looking to you to lead the way in creating something truly special in an already crowded App marketplace – and making Lush a brand that sticks out as something that innovates and gives stunning customer experience.
You’ll have experience of Objective-C / Swift, development for iOS and Xcode coupled with experience of development best practices, software principles and code design concepts. With knowledge of common design patterns, frameworks and libraries for iOS and a passion for code quality and craftsmanship, you’ll also have a keen interest in UI development and experience of working with integration of 3rd APIs. Working in an Agile team using Git / DVCS and some experience with API design and Ruby would be a distinct advantage, as would experience / interest in functional programming. Experience of additional platforms, such as Android or mobile web plus any experience / knowledge of Drupal would be great.
