The Software Developer will be involved in design, implementation, documentation, testing and delivery of software products and services. The Software Developer will also be involved in resolving technical support issues escalated to the team. More specifically, this developer will be responsible for software products focused on integrating information managed by our PI System with Graphical Information Systems (GIS) created by other software vendors. The developer will be engaged in research and implementation of software technologies, standards and paradigms used to exchange PI System data with geographical information systems to support the representation of physical assets on maps and location based analytics.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implementation of an integration architecture to support data exchange with GIS.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to understand use cases and produce designs and implementations that meet those requirements.

• Work with Team Leader and Development Lead to manage project tasks and activities. This includes status tracking and communication of project progress and issues.

• Assist in all phases of the development cycle from design/research to documentation and testing.

• Involvement in resolving technical support issues escalated to the engineering team.
