Road Map:

The Full Stack Associate Software Engineer will become part of a team building high-quality, innovative, and performant software that complies with coding standards and technical design. The Associate will become familiar with and be a supporting member of our software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to test development, our deployment pipeline, and our monitoring and maintenance for these software solutions.

Show off What You’ve Got:

0-2 years’ experience in software development or related field

Suitable proficiency for level in object-oriented programming, relational databases (SQL, ORM, and some understanding of design), and familiarity with modern web application UI development (e.g., React, Angular, etc.)

Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Passion for learning new technologies and collaborating with colleagues on innovative solutions.

Inclusive mindset for democratic deliberation of ideas whether implementing someone else’s design or championing a new idea.

Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.

“Knack” for puzzle-solving; debugging code, eliminating bugs, and clearing technical debt; these are your strengths, and you have fun flexing them.

Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, or a combination of equivalent education and experience

Ability to travel to Albany, New York up to 4 times per year.

Technology Stack Familiarity:

App Stack: Azure Apps, Function/Logic, APIs, React frontend, using C#

Backend: SQL Server

Pipelines: AzureDevOps, TeamCity, Octopus

Automated Testing: SpecFlow, NUnit, Jest, Vite, Katalon

Observability: Sleuth, Cronitor, Sentry, LogRocket, AppInsights

Legacy App Stack: Hosted VMs and cronjobs, client-server frontend tooling

Workflow Stack: Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, and GitHub

Workflow Methods: Agile, mobbing and pairing, trunk-based branching, CI/CD-driven, heavily invested in automated testing.

Fuel Gauge:

This role will pay between $65,000.00 -75,000.00 depending on experience and other determining factors.

$55,000 — $110,000/year
