During your first year at Greenhouse you will:

  • Apply functional & OO programming techniques to build high-quality and reusable services in Ruby

  • Write reusable Javascript libraries, responsive SASS, and semantic HTML

  • Architect complex relational models & optimize PostgreSQL

  • Define RESTful web services

  • Help us figure out our distributed micro-services strategy based on SOA/EDA principles

  • Deploy to prod at least once a week

You should have:

  • Degree in CS or related field

  • Solid Javascript fundamentals

  • Experience with Ruby or experience with another dynamically typed programming language

  • Experience with Rails or another web based MVC framework

  • Interest in solving real-world business problems

You are:

  • Team-oriented

  • Pragmatic

  • At least occasionally sarcastic

  • Awesome
