The Role:

Equity R&D in our New York office is seeking experienced JavaScript developers to join our fast-paced team. We develop rich user interfaces that are at the core of our client’s work-flow and expose the depth and breadth of our analytical platform. The specific role of Front-End Developer utilizes JavaScript and a proprietary IDE to design extensible and elegant UI components with scale and speed as primary concerns. The Equity department has several teams in need of Front-End Developers, for example our Research Team, which is building the next generation of Analyst Research applications. This application will enable content creation, editorial workflow and final distribution both on the Bloomberg Terminal as well as mobile devices. Developers contribute to all phases of software engineering ranging from requirements through release. Candidates should exhibit strategic thinking, an aggressive drive, and an aptitude for engineering quality software.
