😎 is a danish company, that currently consists of a few different projects, all developed in PHP and as WordPress plugins. We currently have two main projects that we’re building, and we love testing out new solutions and playing around with new technologies.

Our Projects Affiliate Plug.in

Affiliate Plug. in is the oldest project. It’s a project that has been running since 2011, where the initial development began. The core features are creating price comparisons, by scraping webshops, primarily within the affiliate marketing industry.

The plugin is currently in it’s second version, but the development of v3 has begun, and is a rewrite from scratch, where the initial architecture has been defined.

Currently, Affiliate Plug. in only operates in Denmark, but the international potential is there, and with v3 we’re going all-in on the international approach.

TTF

TTF is the other main project of 8-). The development has just begun a month ago, and the initial thoughts about the architecture has just begun.

The project is essentially an analysis-platform, that calculates a set of results based on a lot of user input, through a formula created on a WordPress site.

The system is a bit unusual in the WordPress sense, since we’re using MongoDB as our data storage.

So far the project is still in it’s initial phase, so you’ll have great opportunities to impact the actual architecture and development in the future.

The skill set of the ideal candidate

We’re looking for a person to assist and take a leading role in developing the projects, alongside our current developer (and co-founder).

The requirements for this position are:

• PHP, ninja-level
• Git
• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript
• WordPress

You do not have to be a WordPress export, but some knowledge about how WP is build, would be preferable.

As a bonus, but not a requirement, we’d love for you to have some experience with:

• MongoDB
• LESS/SCSS
• Building WP Plugins/Themes
• AngularJS

The Team

Currently we are a team of 4 people. Lars is the original founder and developer of Affiliate Plug.in. Lasse teamed up with Lars and they founded 😎 together. Lasse has a background with online marketing.

On a daily basis, they’re working at https://DuGlemmerDetAldrig.dk, a danish startup which Lasse founded in 2012. Currently DGDA is a team of 11 people, whereas Lars, Leo and Jonathan are the developers and form the ‘technical team’.

Both Leo and Jonathan are also working on the TTF project at the moment, and you will be working with all 4 (Lars, Lasse, Leo and Jonathan) in your work with both Affiliate Plug. in and TTF.
