Senior Software Engineer Job Description: Pulse8 is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to help us solve many of today’s complex healthcare issues.

Minimum Qualifications: Initially you’ll be doing a lot of SQL development, so at a minimum you’ll need to be familiar with MS-SQL. We also need you to have some Healthcare experience:

• SQL: Database Design, Normalization, T-SQL Stored Procedures and Performance Tuning

• Reporting: SSRS

• ETL: SSIS

• Knowledge of healthcare with relative experience in: Claims data, Risk adjustment, Medicare, Quality (5-Star, QRS, HEDIS) and Medicaid

Nice to Have’s: As we continue to grow, we’re looking for someone who is also able to help us with more than just SQL development, so if you have any of these qualifications, be sure to highlight for us.

• Agile

• Web:C#, ASP. NET/MVC, HTML5, JQuery, CSS3, and Web AP

• Experience with testing, specifically writing test cases, unit testing, and automated testing

• Tableau

• Experience with other database technology (NoSQL)

• EMR/Integration experience (HL7, CCOW, APIs)

Education: Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
