Sr. Platform Engineer – DevOps

We’re looking for talented individuals ready to do the best work of their lives and solve hard problems at scale (hundreds of servers) in high-traffic PaaS/SaaS infrastructure. Working on our DevOps Team you will be bridging Dev and Ops to collaborate at the core of what makes Moovweb successful – the cloud platform that serves up over 6 billion mobile requests every month.
We work on a platform that was built for the cloud, from the cloud, and by people committed to automation like you. Along your journey spanning through Dev and Ops, you’ve spent at least 2-5 years mastering Unix Systems Administration (AWS/EC2) in a production environment with lots of traffic (hundreds of millions of page views). You have incredibly strong automation (Puppet) and scripting skills (Python/Perl). Programming (Ruby, C) is a walk in the park. You likely have experience with TCP/IP/HTTP protocols as well as backend technologies and common DevOps tools (Apache, MySQL, Nginx, Varnish, HAproxy, Nagios). But don’t get too hung up on the tech stack – we’re not. Having experience with some of those technologies is great, but we are primarily interested in your intelligence and hire SMART people.
