BEING A WEB DESIGNER/FRONT END DEVELOPER AT BIT ZESTY As a Web Designer/Front End Developer at Bit Zesty you will be working alongside product management, UX design, and an engineering team to make the products we build feel amazing from a visual perspective. It is the perfect opportunity for someone who is experienced in and passionate about creating beautiful user interfaces and writing clean front end code.
Design
- Take our wireframes and turn them into visually pleasing web applications with minimal direction
- Create user friendly web app interfaces by working closely with UX designers
- Create designs for marketing websites
Develop
- Write clean, cross-browser tested code (HTML, CSS & JS)
- Translate designs across all devices and screen sizes
- Integrate marketing site designs into WordPress
Collaborate
Work with UX design team to design and create prototypes for new features
Work closely with the back end development team to integrate your designs into web applications
Contribute to creating a culture of great design at the company overall
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in designing websites and applications
- Expert in Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator/Sketch
- Expert in HTML, CSS & JS
- Expert in WordPress
- Passion for good user experience
- Interest in learning some Ruby on Rails
- A strong web design portfolio
- Superb organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
