ExecThread has built a basic version of its core product offering for executives, using NodeJS, Express, Angular, and MongoDB. We are now growing the product and engineering teams, and looking to bring on our first full-time engineering employees to continue development of the platform, while substantially adding to the set of features, fleshing out devops infrastructure, and improving customer satisfaction. Working directly with the CTO, the candidate will help plan and implement the growth of the product from our current service offering, to grow the user base and use by over 100x.

Technologies & Systems

The ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly immerse him/herself in and learn (or already know):

• MEAN stack: MongoDB, Express, Angular,NodeJS

• Commit/Build/Test/Deploy infrastructure

• Bulk Email Delivery

• Inbound email processing

• Task queues/workflows

Other stuff about the job

• Product/engineering will be based on the SF peninsula; business operations will be in New York City.

• Occasional travel to NYC might be required, but the majority of the time will be spent working in the Bay Area (in-or-around Redwood City)

• Telecommuting would be an option for the right applicant

• Candidate should have the legal ability to work for money in the United States (citizen, visa, etc)

• Candidate should have willingness and ability to learn new things quickly

• Candidate will be working with founders on building a product and team at the earliest stages of the company. You should feel excited to wake up every morning, come in to work, and be ready for whatever crazy and unexpected stuff is going to be happening that day.
