Subtext Media is seeking to hire a Senior QA Engineer as part of a Scrum Team of Software Developers, Product Owners and Dev Ops Engineers. Our application is built with an Ember.js frontend and a Ruby on Rails backend. Our customers are everyone, so they could be on any browser or device popular today. Delivering a high quality product is very important for us. We are looking for someone who has extensive QA experience with consumer facing Web Applications. An understanding how web software behaves on a wide range of browsers and mobile devices is key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing high quality test cases

• Executing test cases on multiple platforms

• Maintaining a Regression test suite

• Conducting root cause analysis to find the source of defects

• Finding test gaps and closing them

• Testing on mobile devices (tablets, phones, Android & IOS)

• Testing a Javascript heavy front-end, with a API backend
