Mirantis Product Engineering team is looking for an engineer with expertise in Linux, Puppet and Python to join us as an OpenStack Deployment Engineer. In this role, you’ll develop Puppet manifests and develop minor adjustments to existing OpenStack solutions written in Python. Your work will be focused on integrating open source security solutions into Mirantis OpenStack code base. You will work closely with Mirantis Security, Development, QA and Support teams to provide the best user experience for Mirantis OpenStack customers.
Job responsibilities:
Develop Puppet manifests to integrate existing open source security solutions into Mirantis OpenStack
Maintain existing deployment manifests related to security (iptables, sshd, PAM, auditd etc.)
Develop minor Python patches for OpenStack security components
Work closely with development engineering and assist support and services engineers
Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues
