Lead Software Developer Position Available
Digiwest is a fast growing Software and Information Technology Company looking for a full stack software developer. This is an on-site position. We are located in downtown Portland, OR.
About Digiwest-
We provide support to private firms and government agencies in Oregon, California, Washington, Arizona, Idaho, Virginia, Florida, Maryland, and Internationally. We have an existing suite of software and hardware products tailored specifically to the transportation engineering industry. We have opportunities to lead new software development and support existing projects including: Bluetooth data collection, Business analytics suite, Web-based IT helpdesk, website builder, desktop engineering software, and custom client projects as needed.

Candidates must have 3 years programming experience with . NET MVC, ASP. NET and proficiency with SQL server. A solid understanding of CS fundamentals (algorithm analysis, data structures, bit fiddling, high/low level languages, and common platform architectures) is expected. Familiarity with Linux will be helpful. Proficiency with DevOps is a bonus.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate with the team but also able to work autonomously, sometimes with only high-level guidance from management which is based on customer feedback, long-term goals, and market conditions. Independent problem solving skills and big picture thinking will be very helpful in this position.
