Full Stack Developer”

Koverse is looking forFull Stack Developerswho can work directly with customers during the post-sales process to help ensure smooth adoption of the Koverse platform. Based in Seattle and with offices in Washington, DC and Denver, Koverse provides the only demand-driven platform for big data that, from day one, enables users to easily run advanced analytics against any data source and develop result driven applications. The duties of aFull Stack Developerinclude hands-on support for setup of the Koverse Platform, developing and implementing custom applications, working with Support to understand and troubleshoot issues, and delivering customer training.

This position is ideally located in the Northeast US (preferably NYC) and would require working from a home office when not on a customer site. Telecommuting from Denver, CO, or working at the Seattle, WA headquarters may also be an option for the right candidate. This position may require travel to customer sites both domestically and internationally.

As aFull Stack Developeryou will:

• Participate in deployment and implementation planning with customers

• Directly assist with installation and setup of the Koverse platform

• Spec, build, test and deploy customized applications based on customer requirements

• Produce customer documentation to support custom applications

• Contribute technical content and tutorials to product documentation

• Deliver customer training

• Partner with Support to troubleshoot issues

• Partner with the Sales team to qualify potential customers from a technical standpoint

• Develop vertical products on top of the Koverse platform

We are looking for the following technical experience:

• Full stack development in Java or Scala, and HTML/JavaScript

• Experience writing scripts using Bash, Python or similar scripting language

• Demonstrated knowledge of DevOps tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible

• Working knowledge of RDBMS systems

• Familiarity with distributed systems like Hadoop, HBase/Accumulo, and Kafka

In addition you should have the following:

• 4+ years professional experience as a systems engineer, sales engineer or similar role

• Excellent written communication skills, including technical documentation

• Proven exceptional oral communication skills

• Ability to build strong, lasting relationships with customers

• Self-starter who can work as part of a virtual team and remain motivated in a dynamic environment

• BA or BS in a technical field of study
