We developing a chat messaging bot for Slack. Our bot will be focused on productivity, helping teams keep up to date on what they’re doing day-to-day.

For the bot we will most likely use the open-source framework Botkit (https://github.com/howdyai/botkit) that allows developers to build bots for Slack, and is easily extended to support other messaging platforms.

Initially you will be working in a small team as the sole Back End Developer, working closely with a Front-End Developer who will be implementing the front-end UI and design; your role will be central to the development of this new product. You need to be a talented Back End Developer, with minimum of 4 years experience working with JavaScript technologies.

You must be confident in code quality testing, automation and performance. As a Back End Developer we expect you to take command of the development, architecture and execution of the bot software.

Responsibilities: Lead web development, test creation and completion, code review, assist in architectural decisions, give input for product development.
