The Web Software Developer designs and implements computing systems and associated web applications and services supporting large geospatial data storage, management, processing and retrieval from cloud and internally-hosted infrastructure.

This role requires the ability to administer Microsoft Windows Workstation and Server Environments (AD, SQL Server, IIS) and develop software using ASP .net, C#, GNU/Linux w/bash shell scripting, relational DBMS with geospatial data extensions.

Job Responsibilities

• Works with internal stakeholders to understand, construct and support developed systems

• Builds and implements required components of core infrastructure from designs

• Completes up-front requirements analysis and documentation for all tasks

• Communicates, documents and shares progress and findings throughout development cycle

• Maintains and applies working knowledge of current technologies and trends

• Builds security features into development of all systems
