BMW Car IT offers you the chance to take up an interesting role in automotive software development. You will work in an international team at BMW Car IT, which acts as a BMW Group internal vendor of software. Your role is to work in the software architecture team for our next-generation Linux based automotive infotainment head unit system. Your key tasks consists in investigating on target transversal system software issues and defining system configuration for transversal system services. You are also responsible for performing code reviews to reinforce compliance of design with overall software architecture and checking software design implementation and proposing improvements. Implementing dedicated tools to support these investigations and analyzing root cause for problems found in R&D testing phase are essential parts of your job. As senior software engineer (m/f) you are very close with architects, software developers and test engineers.
