Job Description:
We’re looking for experienced, senior-level mobile web developers to bring our customer-facing apps to the next level. You’ll be involved in all phases of software engineering, from conception through programming, testing and deployment. Working with a diverse, global team of developers, you will be building the next generation of digital signage and interactive kiosk solutions for our customers around the world. Work in our generous Tampa, FL offices equipped with state-of-the art tools – or work remotely from the comfort of your own home.
What you’ll be doing:
Help define the direction for the development of brand new hybrid apps with a strong focus on UX

Work closely with developers and designers to develop a high-demand mobile app with exposure to millions of real-world users in an e-commerce environment
Design and develop features based mockups, wireframes and user stories

Build and test apps on a range of devices and orientations
Participate in a fast-moving, lean development process with minimal overhead

Leverage the latest hybrid app technologies and features to improve user experience and enhance user engagement

What you’ll bring:
Deep involvement in the development and deployment of at least 2 Play and/or App Store applications

High-level knowledge of and familiarity with modern web development tools, including Javascript, Angular, React, Typescript, JSX, ES2015, Node, NPM, Less/Sass, Flex-Box
Understanding of common Javascript testing tools and libraries, such as js-spec, Jasmine, Karma, Bard, etc.

Significant experience with one or more hybrid web frameworks such as: Ionic, React-Native, NativeScript
Familiarity with real-time, socket-based applications

Experience integrating web applications with APIs and backend services
Ability to work efficiently in both XCode and Android Studio
*
Competence using testing and deployment tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCI
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
*
Background in building apps within e-commerce and/or retail industries a plus
Required Education:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or similar field with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
