WayBetter Senior Front End Developer
WayBetter has an exciting opportunity for a passionate, creative Senior Front End Developer to help us tear down our existing monolithic stack and completely rebuild it from the ground up with a modern, mobile-first, service-oriented architecture. What we’re looking for
As our Senior Front End Developer, you’ll be working with a small, growing team of experienced engineers. You will be responsible for developing the web client and web tier of our products, including the WebView components for mobile apps. You will also have ample opportunity to aid in the design of our back-end services. You’ll play a key role in identifying and investigating new technologies, prototyping and testing, and rapid iteration releases.
Required Qualifications
Expertise with JavaScript, React and Nodejs in production environments
Strong knowledge of HTML5 and web fundamentals (CSS, HTTP, cookies, security, performance, etc.)
Strong relational database knowledge (MySQL, Postgres)
Experience with automated testing (writing unit tests)
Familiarity with AWS
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing iOS and/or Android apps a major plus
Experience with React Native a major plus
Experience with micro-service architecture
Familiarity with NoSQL
Design/UX skills
Knowledge of code deployment best practices
Experience with Docker
Experience with websockets
